Save the Dates

Save the Dates - Wedding Paper Divas

I decided on two different save the dates to save a bit of money.  We went with the simple and very cute cards for all of our friends and decided on magnets with pictures for our family.  I loved them both.

I'm also going to stick with Wedding Paper Divas for invites as well...

Invitations

I love the color black.  I knew all along that one of my main colors would be black, and I was leaning toward black invites as well.  I love these.  My other color is ivory, so the font color on these will be ivory.  I also included an extra card with info about the Welcome Party we will be having the night before.

I also decided not to have rsvp cards.  Because we are only inviting 60 people, all of whom are computer literate, I figured I would save money (and trees) by going with a website rsvp system.

Invites are by Wedding Paper Divas and are called Solid Mongram in Black Russian.

Placecards

Before I decided on many things, I knew these were the placecards that we were going to use.   Jeff and I have two chihuahuas.  I actually had them pre-Jeff, but it's as if he's been with them their whole lives.

I found these etsy.com from seller
CuddleCreature.  They have sime amazing creations and I asked her if she could make a chihuahua!

Calligraphy

In high school, I loved learning calligraphy in art class.  Although that was MANY years ago, I was determined to do my own invitations.  I purchased two calligraphy pens and Michael's and went at it.  It took time and patience, but I think they turned out very well, and I saved about $100!

Itineraries

I plan on creating itineraries for our guest and mailing them out about three weeks before the wedding.  I was in desperate need of help in creating a map, so of course to looked to fellow knotties!

Thank you Junebug for the template and helping me get started.
